One flatmate in Glen Eden looking for a second
About this ad
Furnished Room in Glen Eden | $240 per Week | Bills Included 🌿 We’re a friendly, easygoing couple in our early 30s looking for the right person to join our home in a lovely gated residential complex in Glen Eden, Gladstone. 🤍 A Little About Us We both work full-time, with Rance working rotating day and night shifts, so we understand the importance of respecting different routines and downtime. Outside of work, we enjoy the gym, getting outdoors, exploring new places, spending time near the water and our shared love of motorbikes and tattoos! Rance enjoys his rugby league, while I love my creative projects and personal development. We’re down-to-earth, enjoy a good laugh and a bit of banter, and appreciate a balance between getting out and about and having a quiet night in. We’re independent and value our own space, but love having a friendly, welcoming atmosphere at home. 🏡 Your Space A comfortable, medium-sized furnished bedroom featuring: * Queen bed and bedside tables with drawers * Built-in wardrobe * Ceiling fan and ducted air conditioning * Wall-mounted TV bracket (BYO TV) You’ll also have access to the spacious main upstairs bathroom, which is generally yours to use, although it may occasionally be shared when family or friends stay. ✨ What’s Included * Reasonable electricity, water and Wi-Fi usage * Shared kitchen and open-plan living areas * Dedicated pantry space * Washing machine and dryer * Resort-style swimming pool, BBQ and outdoor entertaining facilities * Visitor parking within the gated complex for your use, plus additional parking outside There’s also the option to set up your own fridge in the garage for extra storage. 🌿 Our Home We take pride in keeping our home clean, comfortable and welcoming. A monthly cleaner handles the deeper cleaning, while everyone looks after the shared spaces day to day. Our two much-loved indoor cats, Lilly and Lexi, are part of the family, so being comfortable around cats and keeping doors secure is essential. We’re not a party household, but we enjoy a relaxed, friendly environment where everyone feels at home. 🤍 Who We’re Looking For Someone who’s employed, reliable, tidy, considerate and easy to get along with. A good sense of humour and respect for personal space are always appreciated! No additional pets or parties. Smoking outdoors only. 💰 Rent & Availability * Rent paid weekly, with two weeks’ rent ($480) payable upfront and maintained in advance is preferred * Minimum stay of 3 months * Expected availability: First or second week of December 2026, exact date to be confirmed We’re currently welcoming expressions of interest and would love to find the right fit ahead of time. If this sounds like somewhere you’d feel at home, send through a little about yourself, your work arrangements and what you’re looking for! 🤍

How to Actually Organise Your Share House (Without the Group Chat Imploding)
Flatmate Circle is a purpose-built hub for people who actually live together. It sits inside your flatmate.com account and brings everything a share house needs to function like a household rather than a collection of strangers who happen to share a fridge. Think of it as the operating system your share house never had.

Interviewing potential flatmates
There are endless questions you can ask, depending on what your interests are, and also the interests of the other flatmates. They may have questions for you, depending on their interests. Don’t forget they are sussing you out, as much as you are sussing them.
